Job Descriptions
- Overseeing all the perspectives of corporate finance & accounting for the overall company’s business.
- Taking part as a strategic adviser for finance, and accounting departments and having a critical role in supporting the senior leadership team in strategic decision-making and operations.
- Handling the financial report & analysis as well as presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, clearly communicating monthly and annual financial statements, collating financial reporting materials for all segments, and overseeing all financial project/ program and grants accounting.
- Cooperating and leading the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
- Communicating effectively to present critical financial matters to the board of directors.
- Participating in developing & maintaining the company’s business, specifically: assisting in identifying new funding opportunities, drafting of proposed budgets.
- Analyzing the company’s budgets and checking budget and financial statements for each business unit.
- Overseeing the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including organizational revenue/expenses and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, and development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
- Monitoring the progress of the company as well as keeping updated on the financial status of the senior management team.
- Monitoring banking activities of the organization and ensuring adequate cash flow to meet the organization’s needs.
- Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll property and other applicable taxes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and related fields.
- At least 15 years of accounting experience that must include leadership in accounting & financial roles.
- Must be experienced in a public company and real estate business.
- Experience or knowledge of the company secretary role is preferable.
- Mature, reliable, active, strong management & leadership skills, circumspect, logical mindset, fast learner, good interpersonal skills and able to perform well under pressure.
- Must be adaptable with a strategic mindset, detail-oriented, ability to think long term/ creatively positive proactive, innovative differentiate to success, collaboration and sense of ownership.
- Must have a very good command of English and computer literacy.
- Excellent communication with full skills in people management and commercial mindset.
